Although being a Christian is a journey of faith that will last your entire life and into eternity, the Bible describes a few of the first steps a new Christian should take.
Water Baptism – The Bible teaches that a believer should be immersed (taken all the way under) in water after salvation. This is a person’s public statement about their faith in Jesus Christ.
A Local Church – Believers need one another. Find a church where they believe and teach the Bible. Join that church and serve Christ there.
Spiritual Growth – Get in a good Bible study and grow in your love for Christ.
